Now we are hosting December PT Tournament!
Here are the rules:
• Each round consists of 3 Matches between opponents.
• Alternate invites should be sent.
• If a game is tied, rematch will happen (with alternate invite.)
• Minimum 250 weapons owned should be activated. (If you don't own all weapons, you can deactivate 70 weapons)

• *** I repeat.. You can only Deactivate up to 70 weapons at max. That means if you own 320 weapons you should play with minimum 250 weapons. If any player found cheating he will be disqualified. Cheater will be determined at host's discretion.***

• You can bury opponent in a match only twice. Use of Burying weapons more than twice will automatically equal to you loosing the match.


(Disabling dirt weapons is advised so that they won't appear while choosing weapons.)

• In case of player not responding for first round within 24 hours, he would loose. You should complete your round(all 3 matches) within 48 Hours. If round doesn't get completed, player who hasn't played his turn will automatically lose.
• Proximity Glitches are NOT allowed(Spinner/Supernova/Porcupine/Lob-o-Matic)
• Tournament Start date is 16 December. Maximum 32 Players will be accepted.
• Brackets will be declared in News feed, so keep an eye on it. Start and Finish your round as soon as possible.

Probably a stupid question

I've recently downloaded the Mobile App version of this game (and followed the links to find this site). There is one bit of info that has been driving me a little nuts to find out. Can't find it anywhere.

Hopefully the more knowledgeable and awesome people on this forum can help this n00b out: How can I move my tank (i.e. drive it around) in-game? I have seen the CPU do it a couple times, but I cannot figure out how with only a touch screen for data input. I did see that someone had said how to do so on a computer (e.g. laptop or desktop), but I don't have a mouse wheel to scroll on my cell phone...

Thanks in advance. I'm really enjoying the game and am quite impressed (after perusing the forums here and seeing how much work went into it before the app existed) with the community's dedication here and all that happened before the app was created. Kudos to all who contributed to that! Great app!

New Features in Pocket Tanks Tips 2.1

Newest and coolest feature is Chat Head!
I will explain it in a while..
Before that let me tell you about a feature we added a while ago..
You can add shortcuts to Chat & Game Planner directly on your home-screen..
The Process will depend on which android version you have or which launcher you use..
Basic Idea is as below..

On your home screen open the part where you can add widgets
(Click and hold / Press menu button / Pinch screen depends on your phone)

Go to Tips Pocket Tanks app and both widgets on your screen
(Planner widget is optional)

After adding widgets, it will look like this...

Now click on Chat widget...
It takes you right into chat page...
Which now has a chat icon as shown below..

When you click it, Another chat icon will appear on screen and chat window will be closed!
***Only for Android 6.0+/Marshmallow***
You will need to give Draw over other apps Permission to Tips app
To do that, Go into Phone Settings> Top Right corner Search> Search "Draw"
Select draw over other apps, find Tips app and Give permission

Now when you click on the Chat head, a mini chat ox will open!!

You can close this box by clicking Back button/ Clicking on Close button as highlighted in image above..

You can also drag this Chat head out of the way if it is getting in middle of what you are doing..
To Remove Chat head Long-Press on it for 2 seconds. or open older chat page and click close..

Now onto Best Part!!!
Take a look at why it will be very useful for you...

 Chat head is shown over your game!!

You can see and send messages as you play Pocket Tanks.. No need to switch apps!

New Feature in Chat!
 You can now click on various messages to go to that page...
If someone posts a screenshot, click on that message to go to Gallery.
If someone posts a new Highscore, you can try to beat him by clicking on that message...
Also if important announcement is made, you can go straight into news section.

Click on Highlighted messages to go to respective activity.

New Combo Guide Feature
View all combos of a weapon!
Ever wanted to know all the combos of Melt Down?
Click on the Highlighted button.

 It will bring you all of them at one place...
(It is slightly slow but I am working on improving its speed.)

Game Planner is faster.

Added new questions in Quiz.

Updated Combo Databse.

Pocket Tanks Tips v1.8.3 released.

Here are all the changes in the new version.

Chat

• Select how many weapons you use to show other users in chat.
• See when the messages were sent.

Game Planner
You can now add Suggested weapon directly into your selection. It will make new weapon selection seamless..

Combo Guide
Edit Button Added
Now you can edit the combo info yourself. We need your help in editing the info about combos because, there are over 2300 combos included and it will be hard for us to  write all the details about each one of them while also testing the combo for maximum points. After you edit any combo, it will be submitted in our database. We will include it in our next update. Please help us in making this app more enriching experience for Pocket Tanks Players.
(We will feature you in credits if 50+ of your suggestions get added to database.)

New Pocket Tanks Tips Video: Score Glitch PTTips vs Stranger Danger

There is a new Glitch that is affecting online play.

While the match is going on sometimes the game glitches and shows different terrain to opponents.

In this case I started seeing different terrain after I shot Fireball. After Restarting the game, my replay was set to the one as in the video below. Blitwise needs to do something on this problem soon..

Also for me (PTTips) Replay after Cauldron were totally different than what is seen here.. Replays changed into this after I reopened Pocket Tanks. Before it replays were showing Different terrain and tank positions.

Transferring Pocket Tanks Mobile purchase to second account?

As the title states, I bought the iOS version of Pocket Tanks with my dad's Apple ID many years ago, but now I have my own Apple ID that I would like to use for in game purchases. Apple itself won't let me do this, saying that I must buy weapon packs with the same account the game was purchased on. I would really like to avoid paying (again) for something I already own. Can an admin help me with this issue?

Any updates on using other Terrain such as Flat, Cliff, Valley etc. in Online Mode?

New Forum Post: Game crashes

Sometimes PT crashes when I click a notification about my turn at Notification bar (game start to loading then crushes and I see my home screen) and I need to run app again. I send error reports twice from PT app with attachment files.
Devise: IPhone 5S iOS 9.3.2 (without jailbreak). Latest app version.

Anyone have such problem?

Our very own Metallian is hosting 3 new tournaments for May, 2016. Out of which Full Arsenal was the one to get all the spots filled first. Currently we are waiting on its Grand Finale which will decide its winner. Finalists are Knightfury & Metallian. Winner will be decided via Best out of 3 Format.
